Ahead of the Saturday’s Governorship election in Anambra State, Governor Chukwuma has Soludo showcased tangible achievements and addressed pressing issues facing the State.
Appearing on a live chat on national television, . the Governor reported a significant increase in the state’s internally generated revenue, IGR, stating that when he came, the state IGR was one point five billion naira but now above four billion naira monthly, a financial growth, he argued that reflects sound governance and a commitment to improving the state’s economy.
The Governor emphasized the need for increased voter participation in Anambra State, highlighting that voter participation in Anambra currently stands at only twenty percent, adding that the target is to break the threshold, comparing the state’s participation rate with higher rates of thirty to forty percent seen in other regions.
