One week to the much awaited Anambra gubernatorial election, residents of the commercial city of Onitsha have expressed readiness to exercise their franchise.
The residents who appreciated the peaceful conduct of the campaign by various political parties, prayed for peaceful conduct of the election come November eight.
Correspondent Blessing ijedibia who spoke to some of them, including Mrs. Choice Ezeoke and Mr Chukwudi Ani assured of their readiness, stressing that their voter cards are handy.
On her part, another eligible voter, Miss Sandra Adaba,. said that she could not wait for next week’s election to have a feel of voting.
