Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has celebrated the Aguata Anglican Diocese on the twentieth anniversary of it’s creation.
The Governor who joined the Diocese in a thanksgiving Service held at At John’s Cathedral, Ekwulọbịa, emphasized that christianity is endangered, the church should ask themselves the vital question why some people are leaving the church to indulge in other practices, which the church preaches against.


The Governor reiterated that the era of graduation from nursery school in Anambra schools, writing of assignments inside textbooks, which makes it impossible for other people to use the books, is over in the state.


In a Sermon, the Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor who spoke on pressing on forward and towards the Goal, lamented that many christians have relaxed and admonished believers to continue to project Christ’s love, his hope and truth.
