Archbishop Okpala Dedicates Lady Hannah Model School, Okija

Hannah Model School Okija has been dedicated by Archbishop, Province of the Niger and Bishop,Diocese of Nnewi,Most Rev.Godwin Okpala .


The school was built by Sir Daniel Chukwudozie, Chief Executive Officer, Dozzy Group of Companies, in memory of his late mother,Lady Hannah Chukwudozie. Ogoorchukwu Oranu reports that while presiding over the service to mark the School dedication which took place during the Nnewi Diocesan Women’s Conference, Most Rev. Okpala who noted that the school was built to standard,prayed that the school will always produce good results and students who will compete favourably with their international counterparts . Sir Dozzy in an interview with the ABS,disclosed that the design of the school was given to him by Governor Willie Obiano when he told him that he wanted to erect a school in honour of his late mother. He said the school was built in his hometown to assist those in rural area to compete with their counterparts in urban city and hoped that the school will be managed effectively to fulfill that purpose.


Sir Chukwudozie urged Christians to live uprightly
so as to leave legacies for their children just like his mother who trained them with the fear of God. Up sot.
Earlier in a sermon,Bishop Samuel Ezeofor of Aguata Diocese called for fervent prayers for the church as the church has missed the track and gone materially. Bishop Ezeofor lamented that negative things have happened in the church which weaken a lot of Christian but encouraged them not to give up but remain steadfast in the Lord.
The Women’s Conference of
the Diocese also gave post humus award to Lady Hannah Chukwudozie alongside other women who distinguished themselves in the service of God and humanity .
Cutting of cake and
Thanksgiving also featured in the service.
