Anambra Residents have been reminded of the end of month sanitation
exercise today twenty-seventh July 2019.
In a release signed by Anambra state Commissioner for Environment,
Honourable Obi Nwankwo, the Sanitation exercise which starts from six
o’clock to ten o’clock in the morning is compulsory for all Anambra
residents including staff of government hospitals, Ministries and Agencies.
The release enjoined residents of the state to cut grasses, desilt gutters, bag and dump their refuse only at designated points.
It instructs Anambra residents to report their location for them tosend a truck that will come and evacuate wastes from desilted gutters, through this phone numbers 09012500200 or 07056922207
Anambra residents were also advised to avoid heavy fines and jail
sentences by keeping their environment clean as enforcement of
Sanitation offenders commences in August 2019.
