In a significant gathering of national titans, the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, played host to two of Nigeria’s most revered elder statesmen: former Minister of Defence, General Theophilus Yakubu (T.Y.) Danjuma, and former Commonwealth Secretary-General, Chief Emeka Anyaoku.

The high-profile closed-door meeting took place at the newly christened “Light House,” the ultra-modern Anambra State Government House mini-city in Awka.
The visit, described as a consultative engagement on national stability and regional development, saw the leaders discussing various issues of national importance, including wishing the Governor well on his second term.

Governor Soludo, who has often emphasized the need for disruptive change and sustainable infrastructure, led the dignitaries on a brief tour of the Light House complex—a project recently praised by the Presidency as a symbol of the rising Anambra.

The presence of T.Y. Danjuma—a man of immense influence in Nigeria’s military and business circles—alongside the diplomatic weight of Chief Anyaoku, signals a strong vote of confidence in Governor Soludo’s administration as he continues his first-term developmental strides.
