Anambra State is abuzz as Governor Chukwuma Soludo officially received Nigeria’s Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former President Goodluck Jonathan, and other high-profile dignitaries at the Chinua Achebe International Airport today.
The arrival of these prominent leaders marks the commencement of activities for Governor Soludo’s second-term inauguration, following his victory in the gubernatorial election.
The atmosphere at the airport was electric as the Governor, accompanied by top state officials, welcomed the guests.
The delegation included Vice President Kashim Shettima, representing the Federal Government, former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, and former President Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, among others.
The inauguration ceremony is expected to be a milestone event, focusing on Governor Soludo’s Smart City vision and his plans for the next four years, while security has been beefed up across Anambra State to ensure a hitch-free transition and celebration.
