The coronation of Igwe Sir Ben Chibuzor Okeke-Ifi as the new Traditional Ruler of Ndiowu in Orumba North Local Government Area took place at Eziobodo Square, Umudiabor Village, Ndiowu, following his successful election by the people of Ndiowu and certification by the Anambra State Government.

Speaking after the coronation, Igwe Okeke-Ifi thanked God and the people of Ndiowu for finding him worthy to be their king, promising to unite the people and transform the community through developmental projects in line with the transformation agenda of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration.

In their separate speeches, Mazi Jonathan Okoli, Mr. Chris Okeke-Ifi, Dr. Engineer Chidi Nwafor, Sir Nwajagu Nnaemeka, as well as the Chairman of the Orumba North Traditional Rulers’ Council and Traditional Ruler of Awa, Igwe Israel Ezue, hailed the event as a success, describing it as the end of crises in the community and the beginning of peace and development, which Igwe Okeke-Ifi represents.

The event, which was attended by people from all walks of life, including Anambra State Government officials, Orumba North stakeholders, and prominent sons and daughters of Ndiowu, among others, featured traditional dances by different groups, prayers for God’s blessings upon the new Traditional Ruler of Ndiowu, Igwe Okeke-Ifi, and the people, as well as the presentation of gifts to the new Igwe.
