The Member representing Aguata Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Honourable Dom Okafor, has donated 30 brand new laptops to Holy Child Secondary School, Isuofia, Aguata Council Area, with students of the school gathering to receive them while appreciating the noble gesture.
Honourable Okafor revealed that the gesture was a promise he made to the school last year when he visited and the school authorities requested additional laptops to complement what they already had to improve learning for students, appreciating the state government for its achievements in the education sector, emphasizing that digital skills are the way forward, and urging the students to make maximum use of the laptops beyond social media.

The Principal and Manager of Holy Child Secondary School, Isuofia, Reverend Father Walter Okafor, appreciated God for the fulfilment of the promise by the Federal House member, noting that it will greatly support digital learning in the school.

Some of the students who spoke to ABS, including the Senior Prefect, Master Chimeremeze Onyebuchi, and Miss Frances Ibeawa, agreed that the gesture will support digital learning for students, especially with the upcoming external examinations such as WAEC and NECO, placing the school and its students at par with their foreign counterparts.

The official handover of the laptops to the school climaxed the event.
