Destruction Of Akwa Okuko’s Shrine: Emeakayi Cautions Youths Against Get-rich-quick Syndrome

The Anambra State Government has destroyed the shrine of Anambra based Native Doctor; Mr. Chidozie Nwangu, popularly known as Akwa Akuko Tiwara Aki, following a court judgement on the Native Doctor’s case  in Awka.

The destruction of Akwa Okuko’s shrine at Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area was supervised by Mr. Ken Emeakayi, the Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Community Security, as the shrine’s destruction was carried out by Agunaemba Security Personnel.

Speaking to the ABS during the shrine’s destruction, Mr Emeakayi emphasized that the destroying of the shrine was in line with the Anambra State High Court judgement, which ruled that the shrine should be destroyed and the property forfeited to the state government.

The Special Adviser, Mr. Emeakayi emphasized that the convicted, Mr. Nwangu’s shrine was not destroyed based on his choice of religion but based on intent of his actions of giving people false hope on making money without any form of legitimate work, noting that both Christian, Islamic and Traditional Religions have freedom of worship in Anambra State.

While admonishing youths on their actions, Mr. Emeakayi adviced them against believing in the get-rich-quick syndrome, as the surest way to build wealth is through hardwork and not based on powers of ‘Oke Ite’ as such clandestine motives of Native Doctors runs foul of Anambra State Homeland Security laws.
