The Wife of the Anambra State Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo, has called on residents, particularly women, to make their health and overall well-being a top priority, as a way of building stronger families and a healthier society.
Dr Soludo made the call while addressing women in the state, stressing the need to embrace a culture of wellness through regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and conscious self-care, noting that good health is fundamental to productivity and longevity.
She explained that preventive healthcare and healthy lifestyle choices remain the most effective ways of reducing avoidable illnesses, adding that women, as caregivers and pillars of the family, must take deliberate steps to care for themselves in order to effectively care for others.
The Anambra First Lady further encouraged residents to cultivate positive habits that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being, while reassuring them of the state government’s commitment to initiatives that promote public health and improved quality of life for Ndi Anambra.
