Anambra State Council Elections: APGA Members In Umudioka Community Endorse Ozumba For Second Term

Members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in Umudioka community have endorsed the Mayor of Dunukofia Local Government Area, Barrister Chijioke Ozumba for a second term in office with five million naira support  in view of his unprecedented accomplishments in the local government.

Speaking during the endorsement held in Umudioka Town Hall, the former President General of Umudioka Improvement Union, Mr Chike Odoji disclosed that Barrister Ozumba has performed more than their expectations in less than two years in office to deserve a second tenure, saying that he reconstructed Aboh Primary School, Umudioka, carried out palliative works on their dilapidated roads, empowered many women and youths in Dunukofia, particularly Umudioka and is currently constructing one point two kilometres of road that links Umudioka to Ogbunike among others. 

In their remarks, the Regent of Umudioka, Chief Ben Amuta represented by Umudioka Palace Secretary, Chief Peter Ikegbuna, the Chairman of APGA in Dunukofia Local government, Chief Emeka Okonkwo, the Secretary of Dunukofia Local Government Council, Chief Uchenna Malobi, the Councillor representing Umudioka Ward Two, Honourable Onyeka Mbanugo and others testified that Umudioka has benefited immensely from the administration of Barrister Ozumba and has done fantastically well in human capital development, Agriculture, health, education and infrastructural development in the area and other communities that make up Dunukofia Local Government Area. 

Responding, Barrister Ozumba expressed gratitude to the members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in Umudioka and the stakeholders of the community for appreciating his achievements in the community and other parts of Dunukofia, assuring that he will do more.
