Late Mrs Christiana Mboye Ezeajughi, who died at the age of ninety-three and survived by nine children, including the Anambra State Chief of Staff, Mr Ernest, was described as an epitome of motherhood and a virtuous woman who, against all odds, trained her children to become responsible citizens.

Speaking after the interment, one of her sons, Mr Charles Ezeajughi, said words were insufficient to fully describe their mother, noting that people outside the family were in a better position to testify to her character, as she instilled strong moral values and life lessons in her children, while one of the daughters, Mrs Ngozi Obunezi, described their mother as a courageous and supportive wife and mother who stood firmly with her husband and children, especially during difficult times.

Former member of the House of Representatives, Honourable Dozie Nwankwo, thanked God for the longevity granted the deceased and prayed for the repose of her soul, urging the children to uphold her legacies, even as others, including the member representing Orumba South in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Emma Nwafor, and the Chairman of Awka North Local Government Area, Mr Thankgod Anagor, condoled with the Ezeajughi family.
