Governor Chukwuma Soludo has attended the ninetieth birthday thanksgiving service of Chief Simon Okeke, former Chairman of the Police Service Commission.
The event which was held at Saint Andrew’s Anglican Church, Amichi, brought together family, friends, dignitaries, and community members to honor the distinguished public servant and celebrate his remarkable milestone.
Governor Soludo commended the celebrant’s legacy of integrity, commitment, and service to the nation, highlighting the importance of such exemplary figures in shaping Nigeria’s institutional growth.

The Anglican Bishop of Amichi Diocese, Right Reverend Ephraim Ikeakor, reflecting on the theme “What Next?” acknowledged that Chief Okeke has paid his dues across all spheres of human endeavours and praised his consistent maintenance of humility, dignity, and integrity throughout his lifetime.
Responding, Chief Okeke appreciated the people that came to celebrate him, praying God to bless them immensely.
