The atmosphere was electrifying in joy and estacy as children, joined by relatives, friends and associates of Mrs Josephine Uzoma Nwabuogo Eche, JUNE, gathered to celebrate her 70th birthday and title-taking as Iyom Ugodibeze.
In her remarks, the Chairperson of Iyom Enugwu-ukwu na Umunri, Dr. Edith Anaekwe known as Iyom Mmachi explained that the celebrant, Mrs Eche was thoroughly interviewed by the Iyom group and was found worthy to be installed as Iyom, describing her as a true mother to her children who also has passion for the growth of young minds.
Some children of the celebrant, including Engineer Arinze Eche and Mrs Onyinye Eche-Onyekachi said mothers are special and celebrating the seventieth birthday and installation of their mother as Iyom Ugodibeze was a way of giving back to her, telling her that they are grateful for all that she did for them over.
The celebrant, who expressed her deep gratitude to God for His blessings upon her life and family, prayed that God will make her children greater than her, even as she promised to use her position as Iyom Ugodibeze to continue to impact lives of the vulnerable which she has been doing through her foundation.
