Christmas: Anambra Assembly Speaker Udeze Asks Christians To Serve God, Humanity

As Christians all over the world celebrate Christmas, the Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze has called on Nigerians to rededicate themselves to the service of God and humanity in line with the teachings of Jesus Christ which emphasize tolerance, patience, kindness, care for the needy and love for one another.

In his Christmas Message, Right Honourable Udeze noted that as God demonstrated the unconditional love He has for mankind by giving His son Jesus Christ unto the world as a saviour, Christians are expected to reciprocate the gesture by increasing their act of kindness and love, especially to the less privileged, not merely from their abundance, but from the little they have.

The Anambra State Number One Lawmaker enjoined Nigerians to use the Yuletide celebration to intensify prayers for the peace and security of the nation as well as the economic well-being of the masses, while urging leaders to lead with the fear of God.

Right Honourable Udeze who felicitated the Executive and Judiciary arms of the government, religious bodies, political class, Ndi Ogbaru and indeed the entire citizenry as they celebrate Christmas, enjoined them to join hands with Governor Chukwuma Soludo in furthering peace and development in the State, even as he prayed for more blessings to them in the new year, 2026.
