Anambra State Assembly Committee Happy With Pace Of Work On Oko Axis Of Ekwulobia–Ufuma Dual Carriageway Project

Anambra State House of Assembly’s Committee on Works and Infrastructure has expressed satisfaction with the pace of work on the Oko axis of Ekwulobia–Ufuma dual carriageway being executed by Anambra State Government, noting that construction activities are progressing steadily.

The Committee Chairman, Honourable Emma Nwafor made this known during an oversight visit to the project site.

He observed active deployment of equipment, ongoing demolition of affected structures, and visible construction work, while describing the project as critical to improving connectivity, easing traffic congestion, and enhancing socio-economic activities in the area.

Honourable Nwafor commended the people of Oko for their cooperation with the state government, especially in allowing demolition and construction activities to proceed smoothly, noting that the peaceful disposition of the host communities has contributed significantly to the steady progress of the project.
