Ordinands Chima Ezekwe,ThankGod Ezidinma, Onuchukwu Udochukwu, Nnebedum Nnaemeka and five others have been made Deacons while Dr Duke Igwilo was priested during an advent ordination of Aguata Diocese held at the Cathedral Church of Saint John Ekwulobia.
Performing the function, the Bishop of the Diocese of Aguata and National Chairman Evangelical fellowship in the Anglican communion, EFAC Nigeria, Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor charged Ministers of God to always be diligent in reading and studying the Holy scripture in addition to promoting peace and unity amongst the people especially those they are serving, urging them to always preach the undiluted word of God.

Earlier in a sermon, the Guest Preacher at the event, Venerable Oliver Ofoegbu who expressed concern over the challenges facing Christianity, charged the people especially the clergy to always listen to positive advise and take corrections for them to excel in their ministry, warning the faithful against working for God without knowing Jesus Christ, and blamed the high rate of kidnappings, banditry, terrorism and persecution on the lack of the knowledge of God.
Some of those that were made Deacons including Emmanuel Ugochukwu, Okafor Godswill and Ignoanugo Omera thanked God for using Bishop Samuel Ezeofor to elevate them in His Vine yard and promised to use their New position in winning souls for Christ in addition to touching lives positively, while the president of Aguata Diocesan women’s Ministry, Mrs Chinyere Ezeofor, former President General Joint Council of Knights Church of Nigeria, Sir Isaiah Eze-Ezika and Director of Media and Communications Diocese of Aguata, Mr Abuchi Nwozor described priesthood as a vocation that needs full commitment, and urged the New priests to help in bringing the needed transformation in the society.
