President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on leaders of the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, to take decisive and collective action against unconstitutional changes of government, warning that the evolving security threats confronting the sub-region demand unity, coordination and a shared sense of responsibility.
Speaking at the 68th Ordinary Session of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS, held at the State House in Abuja, President Tinubu said West Africa’s increasingly porous borders make joint action unavoidable, stressing that no single country, regardless of size or capacity, can achieve lasting stability in isolation.
