As a major boost to the state’s aviation infrastructure and hospitality services, Governor Chukwuma Soludo has officially commissioned the newly constructed Protocol Lounge at Chinụa Achebe International Airport, Umueri.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Governor Soludo highlighted the lounge as part of his administration’s commitment to elevating the standards of public facilities in the state, explaining that the facility will not only improve the experience of visitors but also reflect the hospitality and progressive pace of Anambra State.

Earlier, the Commissioner for Transportation, Barrister Patricia Igwebuike expressed gratitude to the Governor’s administration for prioritizing infrastructural development, noting that the lounge is expected to increase traffic and improve the airport’s competitiveness within the region.

The Protocol Lounge is equipped with contemporary furnishings, and dedicated security arrangements to ensure a serene and safe environment for its users.
