The Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Onitsha station, was transformed into a wonderland of excitement as children from across the metropolis gathered for its annual Children’s Christmas Party, a vibrant celebration filled with music, laughter, gifts, and memorable moments.
Speaking at the event, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ABS, Mr Chris Molokwu expressed satisfaction with the success of this year’s celebration, describing the Christmas party as a cherished tradition of the station, a moment to reflect on past years, celebrate young stars, and appreciate parents and teachers for their efforts in molding the children.

The Head of Station, ABS Onitsha, Mrs Ifeoma Udechukwu, and the Head of Commercial Unit, ABS Onitsha, Mr Val Oguejiofor, reaffirmed that the Christmas party remains a key corporate social responsibility of the establishment, emphasizing the importance of creating beautiful memories for children and spreading happiness and hope as the festive season unfolds, and assured that even bigger and better editions are yet to be witnessed in coming years.

A teacher, Mrs Ngozi Obidiaso, and students, Uwazue Chiamaka and Chidera Ofokaja, commended ABS Onitsha for sustaining the heartwarming tradition and offering children a lively, communal space to experience the magic of Christmas.
