All roads will lead to Central School, Ekwulobia, tomorrow for the “Worship and Word Conference, 2025” of the Diocese of Aguata, Anglican Communion. The three-day conference, which begins with the arrival of participants on Wednesday by three o’clock in the afternoon is part of religious activities put in place by the Diocese to keep the faithful in constant touch with God. The conference is divided into Morning session which will commence by eight o’clock in the morning and evening sessions by four pm.
The theme of the conference, “Radical Mission”, is apt in view of the numerous challenges facing humanity and the universe. The theme was carefully chosen by Bishop Samuel Ezeofor as part of efforts aimed at bringing the needed transformation in the society, especially now the society is faced with the problem of kidnappings, Banditry incessant killings, genocide, high cost of living and hunger among others and part of measures to solve all these problems and others facing humanity is coming closer to God through radical religious programmes and outreach like the Worship and Word Conference of the Diocese of Aguata Anglican Communion which will be streamed live on all the Diocese of Aguata media platforms including facebook.
So, as the faithful converge on Ekwulobia tomorrow for the Worship and Word Conference, which is a full camping programme, they should bear in mind the need to seek the face of God as the Conference offers opportunity to learn a lot more about God.
The programme which is the number eighth in its series, is non denominational as members of the Anglican Church and those from other denominations will participate in the prayer gathering, which will be presided over by the Bishop of Aguata Diocese and National Chairman, Evangelical Fellowship in the Anglican Communion (EFAC), Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor and will be assisted by other anointed Ministers of God.
Accommodation has been provided for all those that will attend the conference, just as feeding and transportation will also be provided. Those who attended the last edition are still testifying of their spiritual enrichment.
Bishop Ezeofor is using the Worship and Word Conference to commit the spiritual resources of the church to nation building, in addition to his contributions through prayers, messages, trainings, healthcare, social work, advocacy and mobilization.
Prayers for Nigeria, like what Bishop Ezeofor is doing, should be done consistently because those who served God in the Bible used prayer to remain in constant contact with Him for His interventions in their problems.
This is indeed a good time and the right way to pray for Nigeria, in view of the numerous challenges facing the country.
It is unfortunate that many youths have gone into idolatry to boost their businesses and aspirations, only to regret later. This is a golden opportunity for such lost souls to embrace God and receive their salvation.
Other features of the conference apart from prayers will include Teaching, worship, seminar, Revival, Music rendition, salvation, Ministration and Bible study.
The 2025 Worship and Word Conference of Diocese of Aguata Anglican Communion, is here with us , don’t be a passenger, participate actively!
