Obijackson Group, Community Members Hold Health Walk At Okija

The Chairman of Obijackson Group, Chief Ernest Obiejesi, has led staff and members of the Okija community on a six-kilometre Walkathon aimed at promoting fitness, wellness, and community bonding.

The six kilometres road walk which kicked off at the Obijackson residence and spanned major roads and streets of the Okija had Obijackson employees from Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Anambra, and other states, as well as the traditional ruler of Okija,Igwe Emeka Okezie, his cabinet chiefs in attendance. 

In an interview with ABS, Chief Obiejesi said the Walkathon is part of activities lined up for the Obijackson Group’s three-day retreat—an annual event where staff review performance, share ideas, and plan for the coming year. 

Other participants who spoke to  the ABS, including the wife of the Chairman, Mrs. Nnenna Obiejesi, Igwe  Okezie, and the Head of Hospital Services at Obijackson Women and Children Hospital, Dr. Chinedu Agu,  described the initiative as a timely reminder of the benefits of regular exercises..
