The Nigeria Police Force has dismissed a document circulating widely on social media claiming that officers attached to certain individuals have been directed to immediately return to the fifty Police Mobile Force Squadron, Abuja.
In a statement obtained from the Nigeria Police Force X handle yesterday and signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, Chief Superintendent of Police, Benjamin Hundeyin, the Force described the memo, allegedly signed by one CSP Suleiman Abdullahi, identified as the Administrative Officer of the squadron, as fake and misleading.
