Victory is indeed a sweet experience, though the road to it is often rocky and tough . It is on this note that I heartily felicitate with the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, on his resounding re-election victory at the polls on Saturday, November eighth, 2025.
The past few days have been filled with victory dances, jubilant gatherings and celebrations by party faithful and supporters of the APGA-led government. But now, it is time to return to work, for as Governor Soludo often says, the task of transforming Anambra demands a non stop work and truly, Ndi Anambra have not seen anything yet. There is no doubt that he will immediately switch to a higher gear and accelerate the transformation of the state.
The past three and half years of Governor Soludo’s administration have been both challenging and eventful, because no meaningful progress comes without trials. Expectations have been understandably high, given the Governor’s academic excellence and track record of performance. He has laid numerous foundations, some of which have already started yielding fruits, while others are steadily taking shape. There is firm believe that his second term will be marked by even more visible development, and by the end of his tenure, his record will surpass that of any government in the Southeast region.
The Uli community has stood firmly by the Governor throughout his first term and will continue to do so even more ardently in his second tenure. This loyalty was clearly demonstrated during the recent election, where the people of the community voted massively for him across all polling units and believe deeply in his capacity, academic brilliance and political will to reposition Anambra for greatness.
The community however, seeks more interventions in your second term, to help address some of the persistent challenges confronting it . The community appreciates the construction of the Eziama Road by your administration but remains in dire need of more road infrastructure. Almost all the roads in Uli are in deplorable conditions and during the rainy season, movement becomes nearly impossible, as the roads turn into nightmares for residents. Your interventions on the roads will enhance socioeconomic activities in the area and raise the standard of living of the people.
Again, Uli community has endured over twenty years without electricity which has adversely affected social and economic life of the people. The community is confident that your government will bring permanent solution to this challenge.
Congratulations once again, Mr. Governor, on a well-deserved victory. May your second term in office become the sustainable success story of Anambra State , Light of the Nation.
