Isuofia Community Agog As Soludo Takes Campaign To Hometown

Governor Chukwuma Soludo returned to his hometown of Isuofia to a rousing welcome from thousands of supporters who gathered for a homecoming rally, marking a significant moment in his campaign for re-election in the upcoming governorship elections.

The rally, held at the Central School Field Isuofia, was a vibrant celebration of community spirit, featuring traditional music, dance performances and a palpable sense of enthusiasm among attendees.

Residents adorned in the community’s traditional attire proudly waved banners that echoed support for Soludo.

In his speech, Governor Soludo expressed heartfelt gratitude for the warm reception and emphasized the importance of unity as the state approaches the polls, stressing that remarkable progress has been made in the state with the people’s support.

The Governor highlighted key achievements of his administration, including improvements in security, education, healthcare and infrastructure, stating that he has laid a solid foundation that must be built upon, adding that with the people’s continued support, Anambra will be taken to greater heights.

Supporters, including the President General of Isuofia People’s Movement, Engr. Fidelis Okafor, Engr. Ifeanyi Ifemelu, among others, took the microphone to endorse Soludo’s candidacy, boasting about his accessibility and dedication to grassroots governance as his policies have positively impacted the community, as a result of which he must return the position to continue the momentum.

The rally also featured a strong call for voter participation, with Special Adviser to the Governor on Markets, Chief Evarist Ubah, urging community members to mobilize and make their voices heard in the upcoming elections as complacency cannot be afforded.

Isuofia community later donated two hundred million naira support to the Governor.
