As a critical stakeholder in the conduct and success of elections, especially with the Anambra State gubernatorial election days away, police officers under the command are undergoing training workshop in Awka to ensure a seamless election as it concerns security during and after the election.
Speaking during the training, a consultant from GTA consulting, Chief Johnson Ateghie explained that the Inspector General of Police found it needful to ensure that officers that would be part of the election are trained to understand their roles and effectively carry-out responsibilities, urging members of the public to understand the work of the police, for effective policing.
