Oko Community Donates N55m To Support Soludo’s Reelection Campaign

In a remarkable show of support, the Oko community has donated fifty five million naira to Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s second term gubernatorial campaign.

Representatives from Oko, including Chief Emma Muogbo, Chief Ifeoma Ekwueme, Hon. Emmanuel Okeke, Chief Chukwubunna Madubom and Chief Sunday Nwafor, among others, made the donation at an  event held at the Light House in Awka.

Speaking to the ABS, Chief Muogbo from Oko stressed that the support from Oko stems from the many things the Governor has done for them including erosion control, road construction and peace among the leadership of the community, among others and endorsed Governor Soludo’s vision for a progressive and prosperous Anambra State. 

In response to the overwhelming support, Governor Soludo expressed gratitude to the Oko Community for voluntary show of solidarity and support, noting that such donations has never happened in the history of the state and promised not to relent when elected for another term of four years.
