A massive turnout of over ten thousand residents from Onitsha North Local Government Area showcased their overwhelming support for Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s bid for a second term.
The Governor and his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, were warmly received by the crowd, who displayed their enthusiasm and confidence in Soludo’s vision for the state, a clear indication of the growing grassroots support for the Governor as the political heat in the region intensifies ahead of the upcoming elections.
During the event, Governor Soludo reflected on the significant progress made in the past four years and noted that a crowd of this magnitude would have been unimaginable in Onitsha just a short time ago, expressing gratitude to the supporters for their past votes, recognizing that their support was essential for the ongoing development of the state.
During the event which featured the presentation of over thirty-million naira campaign support to the Governor, the Mayor, Onitsha North, Tony Nworah, Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Patrick Aghamba, Member representing Onitsha North Constituency, Barrister Mimi Azikiwe, among others appreciated the Governor for the strides in the area , describing him as the solution that works.
