Iron Dealers Association Atani Dedicates New Market Site At Nteje

Iron Dealers Association Atani road, Ogbaru council area has dedicated it’s new market site at Nteje, Oyi Local Government Area of the state with a special prayer session organized by the market executives.

In his sermon during the prayer session, the Divisional Commander, Salvation Army, Anambra West Division, Lieutenant Colonel Godspower Anozie, who spoke on the theme; “The earth is the Lords”, reminded the traders that the land and market belongs to God, reason they should reverence and have the fear of God in their dealings with their customers, saying that where Jesus reigns, there is equity, justice, orderliness and prosperity.

Addressing the gathering, the Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Markets, Mr Chukwuemelie Ibekwe, congratulated members of the Iron Dealers Association for the successful compeletion and dedication of their new market, urging them to ensure that those of their members who are still at their old site are relocated to the new market, while reminding the traders that November 8th governorship election is fast approaching, hence they should endeavor to exercise their franchise.

The President General, Anambra State Market Trader Association, ASMATA, Chief Humphrey Anuna, who commended the market executives for their selfless service to the association, described the new market environment and structures put in place as habitable, and ones that will add value to the traders and the market.

The Chairman, Iron Dealers Association, Mr Everistus Ejezie, who recounted series of adversaries they encountered during the construction of the new market at Nteje, thanked Governor Soludo for the pivotal roles he played in securing the site and restoring lasting peace in the market, advising the traders to get their voters card ready for November 8th re-election of the Governor.

Others who spoke to the ABS including the President General, Allied Building Material International Market, Mr Ignatius Ejike, the Market Zonal leader for Oyi, Mr Peter Nwankwo, the former Chairman, Iron Dealers Association Atani, Mr Nnaemeka Onuzuluike, and the Secretary of the Association, Mr Ugochokwu Nnadozie noted that the new market has enough space to contain all the traders, advising those of their members who are still at their old site to join them by relocating to the new site.
