Anambra Governorship Election: Ekwulọbịa Community Endorses Soludo For Second Time, Provides N80M Support

Ekwulọbịa community in Aguata local government area has endorsed the candidacy of Governor Chukwuma Soludo with eighty million naira support.

A cheque was presented to the Governor alongside his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim at a rally in Ekwulọbịa Stadium, where Governor Soludo expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support, stating that the campaign has now transformed into people’s movement and recalled that former Governor Jim Nwobodo had designated Awka, Onitsha, Nnewi, and Ekwulọbịa as cities, but it seemed like Ekwulọbịa was overlooked all along.

The Governor emphasized the need for serious planning for Ekwulọbịa to truly achieve city status and proposed the establishment of a committee focused on town planning.

A stakeholder in the community, Chief Joseph Okafor praised the Governor for performing wonders across the state in just three years, just as the Mayor of Aguata Local Goverment Area, Dr. Chibueze Offorbuike among others, promised to beef up support for the Governor, and ensure that he wins the November eight governorship election.
