A former President General of Nsugbe community, Honourable Simeon Ogude, has protested his suspension from the Nsugbe Security Management and Finance Committee, describing it as gross illegality aimed at maligning and defaming his character.
Reacting to his suspension from the security committee, Honourable Ogude explained that he is a member of the committee duly inaugurated by the Anambra East Council Chairman, Honourable Ifeanyi Chinweze.
He said that his membership of the committee is for him to contribute his quota in directing and assisting with practical mechanism to protect the citizenry, and prevent crimes within the community.
Speaking on matters of unprofessionalism and incompetence on the part of the security personnel, Honourable Ogude maintained that the management of security affairs within the community should be in line with established laws of the state.
