Cote D’Ivoire Seeks Partnership With Anambra In Automobile Manufacturing

The Republic of Cote D’Ivoire has expressed interest in partnering with Anambra State in the automobile sector through Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company.

The Ambassador of Cote D’Ivoire to Nigeria, Mr Kalilou Traore, who disclosed this when he led a delegation on a courtesy visit to Governor Chukwuma Soludo at the Light House, Awka, rated the made-in-Anambra vehicles highly and revealed that his country intends to collaborate with the state government to replicate such initiative in his country.

In his remark, the Founder of Innoson Automobile Manufacturing Company, Chief Innocent Chukwuma, stressed the need for Africans to patronize products made within the continent; rather than depending on foreign goods.

Responding, Governor Soludo, represented by his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, commended the government of Cote D’Ivoire for acknowledging Anambra’s innovation, and assured that the state government will work to ensure a smooth and successful partnership.

He called for stronger collaborations among African nations for the sustainable development of the continent.
