In fulfillment of his promises to achieve greater Anaocha Council Area, the Mayor of the council area, Comrade Rome Ibekwe has completed and commissioned a solar powered borehole project with a 3000-litre tank strorage capacity in Nri.
Commissioning the project, Comrade Ibekwe announced that the council area is set to commission another twenty of such boreholes in the area, and explained that providing access to basic social amenities is the priority of his administration in the council area which is in line with the Solution mantra of the Soludo administration.
Welcoming the Mayor and his entourage, the President General of Nri Community, Chief Romanus Okafor expressed gratitude to Comrade Ibekwe for the project and said since the mayor assumed office he has been working hard to meet the infrastructural and human capital development needs of people in the area.
In a remark, a stakeholder of the community, Chief Pascal Okeke-Oraekie disclosed that access to portable water supply is what they lack most in the community, saying that Comrade Ibekwe has also saved them high cost and stress of sourcing for water.
