An Industrialist Dr Godwin Okafor has called for the establishment of Industrial Park in the six geopolitical zone of the country to grow the economy in addition to fastracking the Industrial development of the Nigerian Nation.
Speaking to ABS business correspondent, Abuchi Nwozor in his office on the sixty-fift anniversary of Nigeria as an independent and sovereign nation, Dr Okafor who blamed the problem of the country on bad leadership and lack of genuine democratic governance, regretted that Nigeria after sixty-five years of nationhood has continued to experience daunting challenges including epileptic power supply which has resulted to the closure of many industries in Nigeria, and called on the federal government to create more conducive environment for the growth of indigenous firms to encourage production of goods for export to earn foreign exchange.
Dr Okafor who is a community leader in Isuofia Aguata Local Government Area while paying glowing tribute to all the Nationalists who worked for the independence of the country in 1960, urged Nigerians to always engage in those programmes that will continue to unite and uplift the Nation, reminding the citizenry of the need to always patronize made in Nigeria product to strengthen local industries and the economy of the nation.
