The Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, has expressed readiness of the state to host the 10th edition of the National Youth Games (NYG).
Gov. Oborevwori made the remarks during the closing ceremony of the 9th edition of the National Youth Games held at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba on Saturday, 6th September, 2025.
In the final medal’s table, Lagos State emerged champions for the first time, with a total of 110 medals comprising 52 gold, 32 silver, and 26 bronze, Delta State finished second with 114 medals, consisting of 37 gold, 38 silver, and 39 bronze, while Edo State finished third with 79 medals 33 gold, 18 silver, and 28 bronze, while Anambra State finished with a total of 14 medals comprising of 4 Gold, 2 Silver and 8 Bronze.
