Youths of Ayamelum local government area have held a press conference and solidarity rally for Governor Chukwuma Soludo at the local government’s secretariat Anaku, where they condemned the recent activities of the member representing the constituency, Honourable Mmaduabuchukwu Udemezue whom they described his actions as incitement and uncivil.
Addressing the media during the event, the conveiner of the event, Comrade Obinna Nweke who said that the youths have declared their hundred percent loyalty to Governor Soludo’s re-election, commended the Governor for his developmental strides in the constituency and Anambra at large, including the employment of over two hundred teachers from the local government and health workers, solar-powered installation in eleven primary healthcare centres in the area, among others.
Others are, construction of Community Secondary school Ifite-Ogwuari, ongoing construction of Solution General Hospital Anaku, conversion of Amikwe Community Secondary school Omor into smart school, among other significant projects.
In their various remarks, The Majority Leader of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria, Anambra State chapter, representing Ayamelum Constituency, Right Honourable Emeka Nwabude and Mr. Vincent Egbunike from Ayamelum Central, all assured that the youths of the constituency are with Governor Soludo, appealing to him to keep remembering the council area in the scheme of things, even as solidarity match in support of the Governor by the youths who carried various placards with pro-Soludo inscriptions climaxed the event.
