As our people celebrate, it is hoped that the 2025 festival will foster in our people a sense of love for Omogho. It is expected that Ndi Omogho will use this period to strengthen cultural and kingship ties and build bridges of friendship. As we revel in the joy of this period of rest from our toils on the farm, we commit our people to the mercy of God, who will continue to protect and strengthen us in the years ahead.

We acknowledge with gratitude those who have supported Omogho over the years. We pay tribute to our Royal Father, Igwe Offor, whose reign has brought unprecedented peace and development to Omogho and Chief Ugochukwu Okoli, the  sponsor of the 2025 new yam festival for his love for Omogho and the people. May the God of Omogho, reward him abundantly.
