ASUBEB 2025 Annual Leadership Retreat: Participants Urged To Leverage Technological Skills For  Better Service Delivery

The Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board, ASUBEB, 2025  Annual Leadership Retreat For Officers -in-charge, Head-teachers and Directors has ended with a call on participants to get equipped with skills and strategies for handling not just the act of teaching but the increasing demands of learning contents for effective educational goals to be realized.

Queen Anigbogu reports that the Executive Chairman, ASUBEB, Dr. Vera Nwadinobi while officially declaring the retreat open at Archbishop A.K. Obiefuna Retreat, Pastoral and Conference Centre, Okpuno said headteachers and stakeholders in the present digital era are required to leverage technological skills while modelling integrity, discipline and professionalism for a better service delivery to the learners. 

In her  address, Director Quality Assurance Department, ASUBEB, Lady Stella Ezepue noted that it has become imperative for teachers and stakeholders to be equipped with skills and strategies for handling the increasing demands of learning, noting that the retreat is aimed at training and retraining of headteachers who are involved in all basic education stages, for the realization of the effective educational goals.

One of the resource persons, Professor Vivian Nwogbo, from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, maintained that teachers are great and as nation builders  there is need for them to know who they are, work as a team, be open to new trends in educational system so as to remain relevant in the profession.
