Miss Chisom Ejidike of the Commercial Services Department of Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, and her hearthrob, Mr Chukwukadibia Okoye have been joined together in holy matrimony at All Saints Anglican Church, Awka.
In a sermon during the ceremony, a priest in-resident, Reverend Canon Cyril Jideofor asked the couple to be open to themselves, always remember the vows they made before God’s altar and to make Jesus Christ the pillar of their home,even as he encouraged the groom to love his wife unconditionally and fulfil his obligations at all times as it will encourage his wife to be submissive to him.
Expressing gratitude to God and all that attended the wedding, the new couple, Mr and Mrs Okoye, said they came together in love and promised to help each other until death separates them .
Correspondent Amaka Onwuzulike reports that exchange of marital vows and ring, signing of marriage register, cutting of cake and bridal match featured at the wedding ceremony.
