The Traditional Ruler of Omor in Ayamelum local government area, Igwe Chris Oranu has dissociated himself and the community from any form of attack against the Governor Chukwuma Soludo-led administration.
Igwe Oranu who was speaking in his palace when Governor Soludo joined him to perform the 2025 new yam celebration rites, described Ndi Omor as people that love and value true friendship, and pleaded for more dividends of democracy from the Soludo-led administration.
Responding, Governor Soludo who expressed his long-standing friendship with Omor people, spoke about the ongoing thirty kilometers road awarded by his administration which will be completed within the next dry season, eleven primary Health centers in Ayamelum, a smart School in Omor, among others, adding that more will come.
The Governor emphasized that his administration will continue to prioritize places that do not have government presence at all for even development.
