It was a moment of grief, mourning and sober reflection for families, friends and well wishers during the burial ceremony for late Mrs. Njideka May Okpokwasili, who was the mother of Queen Anigbogu of Anambra Broadcasting Service, at Akpu village, Ukpo, Dunukofia Local Goverment Area of Anambra State.
During the funeral service of the deceased who died at the age of eighty-two at her husband’s compound, Canon Nelson Ogunta called on all present to repent and live good life, even as he consoled the bereaved family to take solace in God.


Speaking after the interment of their Mother, the son of the deceased, Mr. Onyeka Okpokwasili, thanked all who came to condole with the family, describing their mother as a principled woman, who had the fear of God.

On her part, her daughter, Mrs. Anigbogu explained that their Mother was a role model , whom she learnt a lot from, especially family values, urging all who came, to live a life that pleases God.
