The Independent National Electoral Commission, has presented certificates of return to candidates who emerged victorious in the August sixteen by-elections across Nigeria.
At a ceremony held at INEC headquarters in Abuja, winners including Emmanuel Nwachukwu, of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, elected Senator for Anambra South, and Ikpea Joseph, of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who clinched the Edo Central Senatorial seat.
Others who were presented with certificates were five members of House of Representatives that also won in the election.
