The Borno State Police Command says it has recovered and defused an Improvised Explosive Device planted near an Internally Displaced Persons camp in Mallam Fatori, Abadam Local Government Area of the state.
The command explained that the device, described as victim-operated, was found in the border town, about two hundred and seventy two kilometres from Maiduguri, the state capital, according to a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Nahum Daso.
