Soludo Flags Off Construction Of Saint Stephen’s Road  By Emmanuel Church Junction Onitsha

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has flagged off the construction of Saint Stephen’s Road, by Emmanuel Church junction Onitsha.

Performing the function, the Governor stated that since assumption of office, his administration has focused on greater Onitsha, starting from infrastructural developments in Okpoko, clearing refuse in Ochanja, rescuing the Onitsha environment, among others, saying that the flag-off is the beginning of what his government will do in the city.

While stating that the contractor assured that the road would be done in three months, he spoke on the need for people of Onitsha North One constituency to elect the All Progressives Grand Alliance Candidate, Barrister. Mimi Azikiwe for this Saturday’s bye-election, as it is in their best interest to elect someone with access to government.

Earlier, the Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Patrick Aghamba, described Onitsha as a peculiar place with one monarch, appreciating the Governor for all he has done for Onitsha, including water revolution, road infrastructure, free education, among others, just as the Mayor of Onitsha North Local Government Area, Mr. Tony Nworah, expressed hope that more developments will come to the city under Governor Soludo.
