Work is in progress on the dualization of the eighteen point six Kilometres Nwagu-Agulu-Nnewi road, a contract awarded by Governor Chukwuma Soludo last year.
Speaking to the ABS, the site Engineer, Mr Abdallah Aoude, said that they will start asphalt on the road as soon as August break sets in.
He said that they deployed double resources to ensure that they hand-over the job by December this year according to specifications given to them by the Governor.
In their separate speeches, a trader at Nwagu Agulu, Mrs Florence Aneke and an Adazi-Ani indigene, Mr Evaristus Okeke appreciated Governor Soludo for his achievements.
