Anambra State Govt Warns Against Misinformation, Disinformation

Anambra State Executive Council has cautioned against the spread of misinformation and disinformation, urging citizens to rely on credible sources for information and to verify facts before sharing. 

In a release signed by the State Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor noted that the warning aims to promote a peaceful and informed environment, particularly in the lead-up to the upcoming elections in Anambra. 

The Council also received and reviewed some memos and approved projects such as the rehabilitation of Amichi-Osumenyi road by the Anambra Road Maintenance Agency at six hundred and seventy million, nine hundred and sixty-eight thousand, nine hundred and nineteen naira, and five kobo.

A contract worth two billion, seven hundred and fifty-four million, seven hundred and thirty-four thousand, eighty-six naira, seventy-two kobo only was given by the Council for the construction of the Ugwuaku-Ibugughu-Osu-Umuchu road among others.
