Anambra South Senatorial Bye-election:  Soludo Drums Support For APGA Candidate Nwachukwu

Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, says the forthcoming Anambra South Senatorial bye-election offers an opportunity for voters to support Nnewi South for the Senate, in the spirit of equity and fairness.

Governor Soludo who was speaking at the Aguata Council Headquarters, revealed that when the permutation was going on, it was discovered that among the contestants, Nnewi South and Ihiala hadn’t produced a Senator in the region before, which gave rise to Chief Nwachukwu’s emergence, urging them to demonstrate love for him by voting massively for Chief Nwachukwu.

Governor Soludo, who was speaking at the Aguata Council Headquarters, revealed that during political permutations, it was discovered that among the contestants, Nnewi South and Ihiala had never produced a senator in the region, which led to the emergence of Chief Nwachukwu as the APGA flag-bearer, urging the people to show their support by voting massively for him.

While stating that Anambra is APGA land, Governor Soludo emphasized that in the forthcoming election, the party stands for transparent and credible election, notng that over time, APGA has grown to become a people’s movement.

Speakers at the event, including the Mayor, Aguata Local Government Area, Dr. Chibuike Offorbike, Mr Tony Muobike, Barrister Sylvia Ifemeje, Chief Titus Anagbogu and Engineer Dom Okafor, emphasized the need for the people to support APGA for continuity.
