The Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Mr. Chris Molokwu is among keynote speakers for this year’s Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ, Anambra State Council ‘Man of the Year’ Award ceremony in Awka.
Disclosing this during a press briefing on the event, the Planing Committee Chairman for the Press Week, Mr. Francis Ekpone highlighted other activities to include football match with Patriots Support Group, other sports competitions, state government project tour and lectures amongst other activities.
This year’s Man of The Year would be conferred on Architect Okey Ezeobi, the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer, Anambra State Bureau of Public Procurement.
A training workshop chaired by the NUJ Anambra State Chairman, Dr. Odogwu Emeka Odogwu which centered on “Journalism in the Artificial Intelligence era”, was also organized where Mr. Philip Nwosu opined that AI would not displace Journalists but might encourage fake news, emphasizing that AI tools can help professional Journalists do their jobs better .
