It was a colourful celebration of Igbo heritage and excellence, as the 4th edition of the Southeast Legends and Achievers Awards took place at Kobb Civic Center, Shoprite, Enugu State.
The event, rich in traditional flavour, saw guests adorned in regal attires such as Isi Agu, wrappers, and beaded headpieces, creating a visual spectacle that reflected the pride of the region.
Hosting the event was the ever-energetic celebrity, Ashmusy, a content creator, who held the audience spellbound with her humor, while speaking shortly after the event, she stated that there is no joy like coming home to celebrate once own people.
The convener of the event, Mr. Ifeanyi Eugene Iloaneke, used the platform to unveil Aku Lu uno Initiative-a development-driven movement aimed at empowering Southeast youths through entrepreneurship and investment, while the CEO of Hizy Homes and Properties, Co-partner of Southeast legends and Achievers Award, Mr. Israel Ubah echoed the message, highlighting the importance of sustainable investment in local talent while encouraging people in diaspora to invest at home.
